Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, your beloved Son, we offer you, our beloved brothers… for your mercy. You love them and care for them as the apple of your eye. Lord Jesus, these beloved brothers are addicted to liquor/drugs, Lord have mercy on them. They destroy peace in the family as well as in the society. Forgive them Lord; strengthen them with the power and strength of your Holy Spirit. May the power of your divine word penetrate into their souls and bodies.

“A workman who is a drunkard will not become rich” (Sir 19:1). Lord, enlighten them with your divine word.

Woe to those who rise early in the morning that they may run after strong drink who tarry late into the evening till wine inflames them. (Is 5:11)

Lord strengthen them with the power of your word.

Lord Jesus save their souls, wash their souls and bodies by your precious blood.

Holy Spirit create in them a new spirit and steadfast will and make them renewed people. Mary mother intercede for them.
