Children are the greatest gift of Lord realized through the sacrament of marriage, the calling for married life is fulfilled when this great gift is accepted with both hands. 

Those who have been blessed by God to become one through marriage, falters when selfishness takes place

Whatsoever may be the reason, no one has the right to terminate the great gift from God. This is a serious and deadly sin.

I remember one incident. A husband, wife & their little child were present for a retreat. The child's kidney had deteriorated and not more than a six months time for him was predicted by doctors. During retreat the husband was revealed of his past sins who had spoiled many women and forced them for abortion. God worked in him for a good confession and he was relieved of his bondage. Miraculously, the child was cured and now, even after six years, he is healthy. 

Dear parents, how will you face God's wrath about innocent lives being killed in mothers' wombs? I can hear the child screaming silently: he cannot run, nor can he move his lips. Think, dear parents, if he could run or speak, he would have shrieked: "Don't cut me into pieces, my dear mom, please, let me live........".  Think, think deep... my dear parents, before going to kill your child, the gift of our God.

This, in fact, is a war^_ a never before war, not between two countries, not two communities. Every war has a reason behind it. But this one has none such.  This war is against people who cannot stand, who cannot take weapon, who cannot oppose, who cannot cry and finally who don't have any abhorrence to anyone in this world.  But we are brutally chopping and burying them. World Health Organization estimates that everyday the number of victims of this atrocious war is around a hundred thousand, the number reaches beyond 50 million annually. This is a brutal war the world leaders don't bother to speak about, because nobody speaks for these innocent beings. 

God is against this cold-blooded war. Since nobody stands by these innocent people, God, the creator of life, will punish those who commit this atrocious crime. You can see how people are suffering from various deceases and having problems with their children.  Many of them are suffering from mental disorders and guilty feelings throughout their life. Why? These are all God's punishment to the people, who have done injustice to the adorable children and their right to come and live in this beautiful world. 

Remember, Lord will listen the silent scream of millions of infants and punish the responsible. Listen to what the Old Testament says: "They were initiated into secret rituals in which parents murdered their own defenseless children. It was your will that our ancestors should destroy those people, so that the land which you consider the most precious of all lands would be a suitable home for your people." (Wisdom 12:6-7). 

We are liable to be punished for our crimes. But God will listen to the prayers of people who are ready to repent and come back to His boundless love.  "But you carried out your sentence gradually, to give them a chance to repent, even though you knew that they came from evil stock, that they had been wicked since birth, and that they would never change their way of thinking. Their whole nation was cursed from the start, and though you had not punished them for their sins, it was not because you were afraid of anyone." (Wisdom 12 : 10-11)

Now what? Repent, cry about your brutal sins, especially the one you don't consider a sin (Abortion). The Lord, endless source of great, forgiving love, will definitely save us from our sins.

Dear friends, as you read this article, there is a chance for you to come back. Let us hear what God says " When the time came for me to show you favour, I heard you; when the day arrived for me to save you, I helped you" (2 Cor. 6:2). "God has overlooked the times when people did not know him, but now he commands all of them everywhere to turn away from their evil ways. " (Acts 17:30)

Dear Friends, it is obvious that abortion is something horrible.  More of our countrymen and women are being killed by abortion than by any other single cause! What can you do to stop it? Here are some ideas :

1) Pray: Every day, say some prayer to God asking Him to put an end to this killing.

2) Talk to your friends: Many women have an abortion because they think their baby is just a "lumb" or they don't see how they can raise the child if they have it. Tell them the truth about abortion, and if they have an unwanted pregnancy, there is a better way than abortion. No woman who has aborted was happy afterwards that she did so.

3) Write to your Governor, the ministers and Local Officials: Let them know what you think about abortion and ask them what they are doing to help the unborn.

4) Write to the Newspapers: Take a half hour each week to sit down and write a letter to the editor of the leading newspapers.

5) Join Pro-Life Ministry in Divine Ashram: As individuals we can each do something to defend the unborn, but as a group we can do even more. There is power in numbers and unity. Begin a pro-life group where you are - at the college or university, etc. Or Join the Pro-Life Ministry in Divine Ashram, Delhi.
